Booxos is a mobile-first Point-of-Sale (POS) application designed and developed to simplify sales and payment operations for temporary stores, events, and food & beverage stands. The application enables staff to quickly access a sales stand through QR-code authentication, manage products and orders, process cash or Tap to Pay payments, and generate digital receipts.
The project focused on building a practical, reliable, and easy-to-use POS workflow that could run directly on mobile devices while supporting essential retail operations such as product categorization, cart management, checkout, payment processing, and receipt generation.
Traditional POS setups can be expensive, hardware-dependent, and difficult to deploy for temporary events or mobile sales environments. Staff need a fast way to start selling, manage orders, and accept payments without relying on complicated equipment.
Booxos needed a solution that could make the complete checkout process mobile, fast, secure, and simple enough for event staff to operate with minimal training.
We designed and developed Booxos as a mobile POS system that brings the essential sales workflow into a single application. Staff can scan a QR code to access their assigned sales stand, browse categorized products, create and modify orders, and complete transactions using Tap to Pay or cash payments.
The application also provides a digital order confirmation and QR-based receipt experience, creating a streamlined workflow from product selection → order management → payment → receipt.

By combining product management, order processing, payment handling, QR authentication, and digital receipts within one application, the solution provides businesses with a more flexible way to operate sales at events and temporary locations.
